Matt grew up in Vermont in a family full of entrepreneurs before making his way west to Colorado, Washington, and then beautiful Bend, Oregon. He has worked his whole career in finance and accounting roles in companies large and small - startups to multi billion dollar enterprises. Through it all, he has always been drawn to helping small businesses.

In starting The Numbers Guy, Matt is looking to use his experience to help businesses build and grow without feeling overwhelmed by their books. Matt can take the complexity out of your financials and communicate them in ways that help you understand the importance behind your numbers. Knowing how your dollars are moving will empower you to take your business forward. That way, you can focus on what you do best and leave the bean counting to The Numbers Guy.

Matt lives in Bend with his wife Stephanie and dog Bilbo “Bo” Waggins. When he’s not playing in Excel you can find him playing in Central Oregon running, mountain biking, snowboarding, reading, walking Bo or playing video games. He’s got range.
